The longest beach in North America is 8km west of Roblito. Beth and I biked 7km down dirt road until reaching a flooded area where we had to wade though, at one spot almost hip-deep. Beth got bitten bad by bugs and was not a happy camper. I only got a few, and they were not bad. She must be sweeter.
