Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada

4pm. Christina and I had the kayaks ready to go paddling, but strong winds forced us to go for a walk at Green Head instead, where we met some kind folks camping.

11:30pm. Chris and I paddled from Dominion Park to Grand Bay, following loud voices drifting across the water-- the sound of a party. I love paddling at night, looking up at the stars and thinking about infinity. 20 feet from shore, Chris tipped over and soaked himself. I didn't know the house... but walked in away. Everyone was friendly.

After paddling back, I stopped into Buccaneer's Pub, a popular westside Friday night meeting place. I had never been there before, and I still haven't; the bouncer was a dick and won't let me in cuz last call had already been called. While standing in the doorway, a girl approached with a warm smile and "SoloMAX!". She is the one in the head-lock. She said she checks my site often, but I've never received an emailed from her saying "hello". I'm getting more people on my site, but less email from new people. I want hear from visitors, even just to say who you are and where you're from. Her friend to the left, gave me some stickers advertising his web site, iwonsnowboardinggear.com. The couple in the other photo just got engaged.
