11pm. I just finished watching Brother Sun, Sister Moon, a movie that focuses on the early years of Francis of Assisi, who sought communion with the natural world by renouncing his family's riches to seek his own destiny unencumbered by material possessions.

In Southern California, I visited the San Luis Rey mission, built by Franciscan Friars in the late 1700’s and early 1800’s. The city of San Francisco was named after the same man. The FAR OUT School HQ is my mission.
